Georgie and Sarah take on the English Channel

Aim

With such an immense challenge, inevitably comes a mountain of cost. The risk, support and efforts involved in this task are huge.

Once Upon a Time… not so long ago…
Georgie and Sarah met at a local Triathlon Swim Session. Only a novice sea swimmer, Sarah fell in love with the thrill of wild swimming and quickly teamed up with Georgie on some local sea swims. Inevitably, a friendship blossomed; sea, lake and river swims became regular and conversation quickly turned to swim challenges! Georgie encouraged Sarah to enter the Solent Swim earlier this year and Sarah waited for news when Georgie took on both the Scilly Swim and the Windemere One Way Challenge! Fate was set that the girls would swim something together so when Georgie asked Sarah to buddy up on the ultimate challenge, Sarah had no choice but to say YES! So in June 2020, the girls will take on the phenomenal challenge to swim the approx. 21 miles (changes according to the current/tides need to be taken into account and most swimmers tackle a sort of S-shaped course) from England to France!
