London Cancer Hub
Eligibility

The London Cancer Hub in Sutton is set to become a world-leading centre for cancer research and innovation. As part of this vision, we're launching a new Fund to support the brilliant charities, CICs and grassroots groups already making a meaningful difference across the borough.
This programme will back local projects that strengthen health and wellbeing or spark science and innovation within the community. We're particularly keen to support groups helping people to thrive, building local connections, creating opportunities for young people, improving community spaces, or inspiring interest in science and discovery.
The project is being delivered by Aviva Capital Partners and Socius, in partnership with The Institute of Cancer Research, The Royal Marsden and London Borough of Sutton.
The Fund offers the opportunity to receive match funding through a crowdfunding platform and is aimed at organisations that:

Have an annual income no higher than £1,000,000 (in the previous financial year)

Are UK-based, with beneficiaries located in the UK

Are actively making a difference in their local communities

Focus on one or more of our key areas: financial wellbeing, climate action, health and wellbeing, and science, innovation and learning.
We know your time is precious, so we aim to make our eligibility criteria as clear as possible. Before submitting your application, please have a read through the full terms and conditions that apply to the London Cancer Hub Fund. If there's anything you're unsure about, please contact us at [email protected].
The programme will back local projects that strengthen health and wellbeing or spark science and innovation within the community within these funding criteria;
Climate Action: Taking action for climate and nature through projects that help communities prevent, prepare for, and adapt to the impacts of our changing climate.
Financial Wellbeing: Helping people feel more secure and in control of their finances
Health and Wellbeing: Helping communities live healthier, happier lives. Supporting projects that improve physical and mental health, reduce isolation, and promote active lifestyles.
Science, Innovation and Learning: Encouraging curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning. Backing initiatives that advance knowledge, spark innovation, and create opportunities for education and skills development.
If your core mission is not directly aligned, but you're planning a project that clearly addresses one of these areas and connects meaningfully to your wider work, you can apply for project-specific funding.
