We need your help to purchase an accessible mini bus to provide excursions for the friends of our service, to have a meaningful life!
The Happy Healing Hut CIC was foundered in Feb 2020 with a Mission To Raise Awareness of Mental Wellbeing, through;
1. Providing Wellbeing Companionship at home for people who are isolated and or living with a disability or life changing diagnosis.
2. Providing Wellbeing Workshops for participants to learn about Mental Wellbeing and resilience.
3. Providing Meeting Place(s) in local communities that are accessible and dementia-friendly; including a group of young volunteers, choir, activities and lunch enable intergenerational socialisation, friendships and meaning
4. Providing excursions and memory making activities and this is where our accessible mini bus comes in!
5. Providing pop-up community wellbeing education- again where the mini bus comes in!
6. Providing a national helpline for people who are lonely and isolated ( www.thehealinghubs.com)
7. Providing training as a registered training provider and consultancy into Nursing and Care homes and empowering them to reach out into their local communities and provide similar services to support people being cared for by informal carers at home.

The Friends of our service tell us:
That they are "overwhelmed" by the kindness and support they receive from our Community Interest Company. They tell us that our services have "made such a difference" to their lives.
They tell us they would "love to be able to go for days out" with their new found friends and to be able to have an outing with their partner, with our help.
We know we are making a difference to peoples lives, many of whom are lonely, isolated and vulnerable. Having a service which is based on having a meaningful life is something that so many people miss out on- even with care packages in place.
Our service focus on supporting people to live, to grow, to make new friendships and build treasured memories. With your help we can provide even more memories and even provide the opportunity to fulfil a dream or two!
