The covid pandemic has taught us not only how important our local community is but also how much enjoyment we can get from amenities that are on our doorstep. We have seen a fantastic increase numbers of supporters off the pitch through the pandemic with bigger gates and rising numbers of volunteers so a big thank you to all of you.
In the past the senior element of the football club has be sustained through sponsorship and match day income however post covid we anticipate there will be challenging times for many businesses who have been involved with the club.
As a committee we have sat down and considered a number of areas where we can create not only better sustainability from within the club but an improved match-day and social experience for the community which hopefully will increase participation.
Areas YOUR money will help go towards:
Youth membership family support - When the new 2021/22 season approaches there will be many family's who might find it a struggle to pay for their child's season fees to play football. Through your funding FTFC will create x1 Covid support player package for every £2,500 raised for the most in need family's to ensure we have as many kids back able to play football. This support will be made available via contacting the youth committee if our targets are hit.
Pitchside hot food serving hut - Through the pandemic the senior team trialed serving hot food pitch side to fans which turned out to be a huge success generating much needed additional revenue for the club. For the trial we used a gazebo and bbq however we would now like to install a more permanent facility which will help massively in making our club sustainable post Covid and not being so reliant on hoping for sponsorship income to operate.
** If your donation is over £250 your family name will feature on our support plaque which will be installed to our new hot food serving cabin so please make sure you include your name with any donation **

Social club garden area improvements - Our social garden area is used by all teams within and outside the club for many years be it as a meeting spot for our Farnham Town Running Club, a place to enjoy an affordable social drink, presentation events for our youth teams and match day entertainment to name just a few.
Due to its poor condition we have had to remove the existing outdoor furniture and now looking to invest to create a cool refreshed social sports garden with new seating, bbq stand, undercover canopy, planting and outdoor games. If we are successful with reaching our funding targets we would like to launch this area for community use in time to watch The Euros, an event I know so many within the local area are looking forward to. Our income through our clubhouse has slowly declined through the years due to lack of funds available to make improvements.
