Aim

To offer free tailored support for disabled people and those who may have been affected by the virus facing social and economic exclusion.

 I am a blind person with hydrocephalis and spina bifida  I am  qualified counsellor and experienced trainer on disability issues.  I have over thirty years’ experience of providing support, advice, guidance and advocacy to disabled people on employment, education, training and benefits. 

My is to see excluded people given the same opportunities in education, training and employment as everyone else. My aim is to promote practical, social and emotional change by providing tailored support to those who feel excluded from society owing to disability or long term health conditions.  Disabled people and people with long term health conditions were already facing social and economic exclusion before the Covid-19 and I suggest that this can only get worse as  unemployment is likely to rise and the economy will face a downturn.

During these uncertain times I am here to give emotional and practical support 24/7. I offer telephone/facetime/whatsapp/skype/ zoom and where and when appropriate face to face support following social distancing.
