Our current website is very basic - it needs to become an online showcase for the Festival, its events and all the partners who will help bring the dream to life. We'll use the additional funds to upgrade the site and make sure the Festival's online profile is the best it can be.

We want to make the summer of 2022 a time to celebrate what brings us together as a continent. We share so much - in our history, cultures, values, food and drink, artistic expression - and have so much to learn from each other as well.

Our vision is to create a strong, positive and hopeful narrative about Europe and our place within it, through a wide variety of events and special occasions across the UK that everyone can enjoy. We have nearly 40 events lined up already, working with a range of different partners. We're also delighted to announce that the United Strings of Europe will be joining us with a 12 venue tour of major UK cities and composer Howard Goodall will conduct a performance of a new composition.

Why do we need your help now?

On Monday 18th October, we are holding our debut event in the beautiful David Lloyd George Room at the National Liberal Club in central London. The event is to introduce the Festival to the media, influencers and potential partners and supporters and to start building excitement about what we can achieve together.

We are grateful to the European Forum at the National Liberal Club for supporting this event in these splendid surroundings. We have an exciting guest list lined up, including Howard Goodall, award winning composer of choral music, stage musicals, and dozens of film and TV scores such as Blackadder, Red Dwarf, the Vicar of Dibley, and Mr Bean. Also cross genre musician and composer, Malcolm Bruce is joining us. Malcolm has toured, performed, recorded and appeared with some of the biggest names in music and he will be appearing at the Festival of Europe in 2022.

Help us get the Festival off to a storming start

We need your support to make the launch a success, to enlarge our profile and to build our community. By showing your support now, you'll also be the first to hear about our exciting plans and more opportunities to get involved in the coming months.
