New stretch target

If you guys are feeling really generous and can see the value of the work we do, we could stretch this post from 6 to 12 hours a week, that's an additional 3 lives a week impacted directly through face-to-face contact with a worker, the more we get, the more hours we will be able to afford. Thanks so much in advance for joining us to change lives.

Eagle's Nest Project works with young people who are not able to effectively engage in mainstream school. Support for secondary aged students ranges from an hour a week of mentoring to a 3-day package of education. Each student has a bespoke programme tailored to their needs as we help them to rebuild their lives following a range of impacting factors that have left them struggling to cope.

At our heart is the belief that everyone is uniquely created to bring gifting of immense worth to this world. Many of the young people we meet have faced significant trauma and, as a result, have lost the ability to see this for themselves. We long for a day when Eagle’s Nest Project will not be needed anymore, but for now, we stand with those young people for whom it is the best solution and say “you are unique, we believe in you, we know you have potential and it is never too late to dream dreams”.

We count it a real privilege to be invited into the lives of these young people and their families, but have sadly had to turn away referrals this year as we have not had the capacity to deliver the quality service that we know makes a difference. This is an opportunity to make a vital investment into the lives of young people we work with. With your help, we can see them reach for a better future.

Present a 'Student of the Year' Award

An ideal opportunity for local businesses to get involved. You will present one of the three 'Student of the Year' awards at our relaxed but exciting event in Summer 2018. As this is our first event we will be presenting to students from the last three years. Your name, (or that of your company), will appear in the programme for the evening which will include a light buffet. In addition, you may display a roll-up banner on the evening.
