Cudworth high street is more than a collection shops, it’s the part of our wonderful community. Over the last few years the community of shops and businesses in the village has grown with more independent traders moving in. The high street is improving all the time and we’re doing our best to encourage new traders to set up in Cudworth, whilst helping those already here. However there has been a few shops lost along the way. Established businesses like Four Seasons, the high street gym, Buttercups Florist and more...
It’s tough out there for the small indie shops, cafes and services. Our group is made up Cudworth business owners and residents working together to make Cudworth a better place to live and work.
After successfully working with the Cudworth community, residents, businesses, schools, groups, Councillors and the Cudworth Ward Alliance our group raised enough money to buy 32 new Christmas Lights for Cudworth high street we’re now looking at a project close to many of our hearts.
This year one of our community projects is to buy two special Remembrance Lights to honour all lives lost and affected by war. The lights will be a “Poppy Design” sponsored by the Cudworth community and a “Solider Design” sponsored by the Star Hotel. This CrowdFunder campaign is to raise the money needed to buy the “Poppy Design” light to go up for Remembrance Day and join our Christmas lights over the festive period. This once again requires a lot of fundraising and community spirit and we would love you to get involved.
Thank you for your very kind support.
