Dream bigger....
I want to be able to help more. Whether that is being able to donate more to my chosen charities or give wildflower seeds to schools, I think it is important that everyone enters the conversation that our world is fragile.
Crackers without the Crap was inspired by the tiny plastic frogs, fortune telling fish and card tricks, made of plastic and wrapped in plastic that make an appearance in the majority of the millions of crackers pulled in the UK each Christmas.
Crackers without the Crap will be filled with bee friendly seeds instead of screwdrivers, hats, snaps and okay, a little crap in the form of a joke.
They will be recyclable.
They will be as close to plastic free as they can get, there are plastics in ink but working with printers and designers who are committed to reducing plastics they will be kept to a minimum.
Donations of crackers will be made to food banks, helping those who are in a difficult situation enjoy a good Christmas.
With each box of crackers sold, donations will be made to Bumblebee Conservation Trust and Plastic Oceans UK, organisations dedicated to making the environment better.
Where possible, raw materials will be sourced within a 20 mile radius of my home in Somerset.
In the spirit of #backherbusiness I will be trying to use suppliers who are run by or have a strong female workforce.
So there you have it. The stumbling block is that I am building this business literally from the ground up and I need your help to make it flourish. So, I need your support to fund everything from a website to seeds!
I would really appreciate your support, and I think the bees would too.
