UK Drama School Auditions Covid Relief Fund

Aim
Drama Schools are charging up to £55.00 for Zoom auditions. This fund will cover fees for working class individuals during the pandemic.
This Crowdfunder will ensure that no working class young person will miss out on the opportunity to audition for UK Drama Schools due to financial constraints during the COVID-19 crisis.
To return the theatre to health, we need more class diversity among the 2021 intake.
Many talented working-class actors and technicians are prevented from even beginning a career on the stage due to course fees let alone paying for the privilege of auditioning virtually during the biggest recession in 300 years.
The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama are among more than a dozen leading institutions that charge these absurd fees. This Crowdfunder will raise funds to cover the audition fees for any person who is from a working class background or may not be able to afford the fee.
