Leeds needs change with the ruling Labour elite lacking a real vision and failing our city. The Green Party will provide that change.

New stretch target

If we hit our target, then we will be able to fully fund our Hunslet & Riverside campaign and further funds can support other campaigns across the city in places like Gipton and Harehills, Guiseley, Moortown, and Chapel Allerton.

Local Elections will take place in Leeds on 2nd May 2019. This gives us a fantastic opportunity to get Green Party councillors elected to Leeds City Council, but we can only do that with your help.

We have proved in Farnley and Wortley that we can get Greens councillors elected and in several wards across the city we are the only viable alternative to the ruling Labour elite.

The Green Party doesn’t have big corporate sponsors - we are a truly democratic party where the membership decides what our policies are and how we are run. That means that we rely on our members and supporters to fund us.

This is why we are asking you to make a contribution to us at this critical time to drive our campaigning across Leeds with the aim of getting as many Green Party councillors elected as possible.

We are raising money to fund letters to postal voters and targeted leaflets with a particular focus on our Hunslet and Riverside ward campaign - where Ed Carlisle was very close to winning in 2018 - but also to support our active campaigning across the city in places like Gipton and Harehills, Guiseley, Moortown, and Chapel Allerton.

Why do we need more Green councillors in Leeds?

Green councillors are a voice for the community. They put the electorate before the party and make the hard decisions that will benefit everyone. No other party is willing to put our environment first.

Please note: Central & Outer Leeds Green Party (formerly known as Leeds Green Party) is the group within the Green Party of England & Wales with responsibility for the parliamentary constituencies of Leeds Central, Leeds East, Leeds North East, Pudsey and Morley & Outwood, and the 20 council wards that make up those constituencies.

If you make a donation in excess of £500, we will need to identify you to the Electoral Commission or we will have to return your donation. If you are wanting to make a donation of this size, please email leedsgreenparty@gmail.com first. Thank you.
