Since 2016 Forever Pedalling has been a small retail store and hub in the heart of Bristol, we've grown rapidly with the addition of our workshop & shop rides, and we're running out of space! Our annual events hosted with Das Rad Klub play a massive part on bringing the Bristol cycling scene together so this has led us towards the next chapter in the story... We have aims to be much more than just a retail shop, or workshop, we're committed to putting on more rides, events & growing a stronger cycling community here in Bristol.
The next logical step for us is to move away from our small high street location into a larger premises with scope to host even more rides & events. We're pleased to announced we have now secured a huge shared space to create the future of Bristol cycling - Business As Usual. The building is a vast 2,000 square foot warehouse on Russell Town Avenue, in Redfield, BS5 right next to the Bristol-Bath cycle path. It's just a mile from our current home, but with miles more potential! Best of all - you're invited to come along for the ride!!!
Once the hard work renovating the premises has been complete, the space will house Forever Pedalling's retail showroom in a greater space than before, as well as a wonderful workshop in which to service your bikes. We are more than excited to also be sharing this space with the incredible Colourburn Studio - the finest custom paint studio around. You will have seen their impeccable work across the cycling media & within the world tour peloton, it will continue to see it adorn the walls of Business As Usual, a place that will now give the opportunity to speak face to face with the creative brain behind the paint. The final piece of the Business As Usual puzzle is a brand new business close to every cyclists’ hearts - Camber Cycling Cafe. That's right, we couldn't be more happy to be sharing a space with a cyclist run cafe supplying you with coffee, cakes & more!
There is so much potential at Business As Usual - you will want to start & finish your rides here, you will be able to get your bike serviced, even painted here, as well as purchase the finest home grown cycling apparel & accessories. The space will be able to host our own weekly & annual rides with ease, and smaller evening & weekend events, and that's just the start! If your club needs a space to finish their rides, we'll welcome you with open arms, if you need a space to run turbo trainer evenings, get in touch! If you're a photographer & want exhibition space, or have a film that needs a premier, then this is going to be the new hub for all of the above & more.
All of the independent businesses moving into Business As Usual will have to take a break from regular trading to make the move, and will be aiming to add extra services and capabilities in our new home. Here's a breakdown of where your money will go:
-Select a reward from Forever Pedalling and you will be covering the costs of upscaling the workshop with a more comprehensive range of tools. We will be able to offer more in depth servicing on a larger range of bikes and provide a higher quality service.
-Pre-purchase a paint job from Colourburn Studio and you will be funding setup of one of the best bike-specific spray shops in the UK allowing us to offer an even greater quality and range of finishes than we already do.
-"Supporting" the Crowdfunder without selecting a gift will help us cover the more general costs of renovation making Business As Usual a more comfortable space to spend your time. As part of this will be expanding and refitting our bathroom, re-wiring and buying furniture for our shared spaces. The work on our warehouse has started, and we aim to open the doors to you in mid November.
We couldn't be more excited to give back to the Bristol cycling scene & provide you with an incredible space to spend time with friends.
We look forward to seeing you further down the road
