To help those who cannot afford a good lawyer, make sure that they have a fair trial.
Hi all, and thanks so much to everybody who donated last June! Our
apologies for the late update, but we’ve had a very busy and difficult
year.
Funds raised were initially directed towards legal advice, info &
representation. This included people such as the six who were cautioned
and fined. Significant funds were also contributed towards the initial
legal costs of the four protesters taken to court, upto their
Magistrates hearing.
The balance of funds has been passed to the local legal support team for
those four protesters as they face a long Crown Court jury trial in
December. This fund closed last 28 June, and the account is now empty.
