Bringing a piece of South London to Sardinia

Aim

Creating a unique community space in my hometown (Nuoro) where creatives and people from various backgrounds can meet and collaborate.

Hey friends,

As many of you already know, I’ll soon be stepping down from my job as manager of the Railway and leaving London. 

After ten wonderful years in the Big Smoke I’ve decided to try out a new life adventure back home, in Sardinia.

Before I go, I would love to see and hug you all at my official ‘leaving drinks’, hosted at my second home, The Railway Tavern, on Friday 10th of December from 9pm.

Thanks to great support from local musicians, deejays and friends - it will hopefully be a fun and exciting night (no tears allowed!) and give me the chance to say thanks to all of you for making Queen Vee the little crazy person I have become :)

Now that I’ve got your attention, I will also be launching a crowdfunding appeal for my project in Nuoro. 

I want to take a bit of what I’ve learnt from the Railway and make a new venue in my hometown in Sardinia, and create a welcoming mix of pub, social space, music venue and art gallery.

I’ll be starting small but hope to build a fun, exciting bar where there’s always interesting stuff going on. 

In time, I’m hoping to be able to invite UK bands, DJs - and friends! - over and build up a network of cheap and cheerful accommodation around the venue.  

So to make all this happen, I’m asking for your help. 

I really don’t need any leaving presents, but if you were thinking about buying me a drink for the occasion, I’d rather get a little donation into this project (and my liver will thank you forever, too many Jagers)
