Aim

We want to get our story 'Brave' into the hands of as many children as possible so they can keep themselves & others safe from exploitation.

Exploitation of people is a $150 + BILLION per year industry.

For the first time ever more children than adults have been identified as potential victims of slavery in the UK*

There are more people in slavery than at any other time in history.

Professionals have testified to under 10’s being targeted by criminal exploitation gangs because they are under the age of criminal responsibility.   We recognise the urgent need for more to be done to prevent children being exploited.

We have produced a globally unique resource, an adventurous and compelling children’s story book aimed at 8 to 10 year olds which enables a trusted adult and child(ren) to explore the issue of exploitation in an appropriate, safe and engaging way.

This resource equips the adult to read the book with a child through:

  •  the forwards written by professionals
  • application questions
  • practical next steps
  • signposting to additional resources.

These additional resources include: training packages for adults which have been designed by leading anti exploitation training experts and Brave curriculum for educational settings which have been designed by educational professionals.

We know this book has and will continue to truly make a difference in the lives of children, helping them understand for the rest of their lives how to keep themselves and others safe.
