Black Ice is a play written by Atlanta Green, which explores the lives of two women who’ve been imprisoned for murder, which has been programmed for a one week run at Theatre503 in Battersea from 30th October - 3rd November 2018 and will be directed by Mumba Dodwell.
Atlanta had one of her first pieces of writing shared at Theatre503 as part of Rapid Write Response and now she’s coming back with her first full length play, Black Ice.
We have received Arts Council Funding, which is fantastic but does not cover all the cost and we need your help in order to raise the rest of our funds to put Black Ice on.
Where does your money go to;
- Securing rehearsal space
- Bringing on other emerging artists like ourselves and sharing this opportunity in developing our careers.
- Running two workshops for women, 16 -25 within the local area who have been affected by the themes of this play.
- Have a Drug and Alcohol specialist counsellor in our workshops and have them speak our post-show Q&A.
- Complimentary tickets for the 20 workshops attendees.
