Our group has been working behind the scenes for almost a year now to try and bring Street Art attractions to Beeston in Nottingham. We now have clearance from Broxtowe Council's planning department to paint properties around the town with the freeholders' permission. We already have 7 building owners who want art attractions and many internationally acclaimed artists who want to visit to paint them and more - we would like to make this festival as big as it can be but in order to secure these exceptional artists for our festival we need to be able to cover their costs.
This festival weekend, FREE for all to enjoy, will be a vibrant event across town with live music at it's hub in the White Lion pub. Many of us have given our time and equipment to make this happen and we would appreciate donations from the public to ensure this event can be as successful as possible and provide a lasting creative legacy for Beeston; encouraging socialising, culture, wellbeing, creativity and learning as well as attracting trade and investment to our area during and after the festival.
Please do give whatever you can - every little helps!
