New Format for 2021!

Last year we ran the “Fireworks at your Fence” event which brought the villages of Batheaston, Bathford and Bathampton together during the pandemic.

The cheer at the end of the display from all three villages was one of those rare uplifting COVID moments!

This year we understand that a number of people are still wary of meeting in public places while others are desperate for life to return to normal.

This year we have devised a plan to allow you to do either!

Option 1: Fireworks at your Fence

If you had a great view and private party last year then you can repeat it again this year.  Check out the drone image to make sure you have a good view.  A single firework will be fired at 18:30 and 18.45 for you to adjust your viewing position if required.

The fireworks will be in the sky 150m east of where they were last year. Double check your view from our drone image taken from where the fireworks will explode this year.

All we ask is that you donate before the event.

Option 2:  Join us for the Bonfire and a Drink in the Field

Come and join us for an in-person event at a new location in the middle of the Northend Village for a large Bonfire and a bar (subject to licence).

The gates will open at 6 pm but you must have a ticket before you arrive.  Once you have donated, register for tickets here;

New for 2021 – How much you donate and how many tickets you want is up to you – we ask you to be as generous as possible with your donations but understand this means different things to different people.**

The location has a great view of the fireworks and will give you the opportunity to catch up with friends and enjoy the spectacle together.

The COVID situation is still dynamic and so there are several options for our field event depending on where we are on the 6th of November.  More details will be included on this page as we get closer to the event but we will need to limit the number of people in the field so once all the tickets have gone you will have to enjoy them from your own fence.

NOTE - the location of the bonfire is new, it is NOT where we used to hold the event.

** If you are unable to donate but would still like tickets to join for a bonfire in the field, email us on [email protected]

This project offers rewards in return for your donation.
