We are a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) our goal is to promote sports and improve social well-being within the community.
Over the last 5 years, the football club has been working hard towards the construction of a community facility on its Newby Terrace site. This facility is planned to provide a safe, warm, free-to-use "hub' for all teams as well as various other local community groups and charities. It willinclude a communal multi-functional area, kitchen and toilets (including disabled). Although a fairly basic construction, this facility will provide a small source of income through food and hot/cold drinks sales before, during and after football matches and training sessions. This will allow the club to purchase improved training equipment as well as maintaining the safety/security of the site. In addition, the facility will be offered up for a small fee to local community groups and charities in a community that has a shortage of alternative venues.
We are setting up this page in a bid to secure the funds to furnish and make the site secure.
Furnishings such as; bar stools, chairs, tables, fridge, TV etc.
Security such as; Installing shutters to the windows and doors and the install of a security camera on site.
