AFC Raeburn COVID Funding

Aim

We are a newly formed club, who has recently lost their two main sponsors and now face a deficit of £400 due the Covid 19 crisis.

We were formed on the back of a couple of years discussion between a few friends, who wanted a casual game of football on a Sunday, but also wanted the competitiveness that comes with league football.

Having not played together for about 3 years, for a few seperate teams, we put together a programme to ensure that the club, if formed, would be financially viable year on year and would ensure that we would not have to be scraping around for money each year.

After securing £400 in sponsorship to cover kit costs and inital fee's, the two companies we had money pledged from have faced financial difficultyy and are not able to sponsor any longer. This is where you come in, we are hoping that your generosity, and crowdfund matching by Sport England, will ensure we have the opportunity to bring different parts of the community together on a Sunday morning.
