The aim of my project is to open a unique wedding venue that caters to disabled brides and grooms as well as able bodied bride and grooms.
The vision is to purchase a property and do some renovations as well as installing mobility equipment such as a hoist in one of the ceremony rooms so the bride or groom who is unable to walk can experience the big moment to the fullest! One of the most attractive things about this property is that it already has a downstairs bedroom ready to transform into a disabled access bridal suite with a luxury style walk in shower room. On the land i would like to have a path suitable for a wheel chair to run through the gardens so photos of the big day can be easily taken without complications and discomfort for any brides, grooms or family members of the bride and groom with wheelchair needs.
I am very passionate about being able to support people with disabilities and it is very personal to me I will do everything i can to make this vision reality. I have spoken to friends and family about my plans and ideas and i believe my venue will become noticed and inspire other venues to install mobility equipment to give people with disabilities the wedding day they deserve.
The average amount spent on wedding venue hire non all inclusive = £5,819
What My venue will charge All inclusive= £5000-7500

I am registration to Companies House for E.J Davis Weddings LTD
I have the current floor plans for the property already and have will be in contact with the relevant companies to see what can potentially be done to the interior and the plans for the large extension on the one property. I also aim to work with people who have disabilities on the project for the ceremony room with mobility equipment such as a hoist so they can give me on the spot feedback and test out what type of equipment is most suitable for their needs.
The property also has a downstairs bedroom with potential for a wet room with disabled access.
