I'm Daniel, I'm a British steampunk and tea fanatic, and since January 1st 2017 I've been celebrating one of those silly 'national day of the...' things every day - things like 'Blame Someone Else Day', 'Pie Day' and 'What If Cats And Dogs Had Opposable Thumbs Day'. Why? well because 2016 had so little to celebrate, it was all doom and death and just generally gloomy - this ridiculous project has cheered me up no end, and seems to make other people smile too, which is even better.
Tuesday 14th of March is/was Crowdfunder Day - because of that, and my own ridiculous self-imposed rules, I have to run a crowdfund project. I am a lifetime fan of the humble British cuppa, so I thought I'd set my sights firmly on that; A cup of tea would indeed be lovely. Things have always got to be done right - including being ridiculous and trivial - if you're not ridiculous and trivial properly, you're just being silly, and nobody wants that...with that in mind I will also include stretch goals and rewards, as that is a fundamental part of crowdfunding. Some people may subscribe to the belief that ridiculousness is it's own reward - not I, I treat ridiculousness with the seriousness it deserves and will offer great rewards for ridiculous people. Should I achieve the goal, I will add stretch goals - because if you're going to enable my ridiculousness, I'm going to have to embrace it. Those ARE the rules after all
