Forced closure in our 1st year of business means we need your help! Parts of our building need Repair & to create much needed outside space

Hello Everyone

For those of you who don’t know us sadly 2020 has been our first year of business....and nobody could have built this pandemic into a business plan!...& indeed the considerable implications of Covid 19.

We now really need the help & support of our wonderful customers and local community. Being forced to close our front door, our tills haven’t been ringing very much, we’ve tried to keep ticking over with a takeaway offering but unfortunately we haven’t been able to get furlough for some key members of staff, coupled with a relatively small database of customers, (due to the short period of opening prior to the forced government closure) has meant times have been challenging to put it mildly  

Firstly we need to complete much needed remedial works. These last few jobs were  remaining after the huge refurbishment programme in which we restored this iconic pub in 2019, which has been part of our local community for decades. We have injected new life & beauty into the building once more, for you & your families to enjoy.
However without trade, the expense of these works is just too much, so we need help for works such as removing existing render allowing water ingress & re rendering the external walls, finish roofing works and replace the remaining old windows.
Secondly, we also now need to create an outside space in which people will feel safe whilst enjoying the same quality treats & eats in a friendly community environment, you’ve all come to know & love.
If we haven’t met you yet then we can’t wait to welcome you to our beautiful venue soon & we are so looking forward to seeing our customers who have become part of our 1620 family.
