In August 2018 Crowdfunder UK’s senior crowdfunding coach Bertie Herrtage went on a mission from Cornwall to Scotland to meet the people behind ten truly exceptional crowdfunding campaigns.

With a history of depression, Bertie chose these campaigns based on their unique and creative approaches to tackling poor mental health – from volunteers taking elderly folk on bike rides to combat social isolation, to a flower farmer employing people with learning disabilities to grow and sell British-cut flowers.

In November, Bertie crowdfunded £13,203 from 393 people to put the very first ‘Crowdfunder Stories’ magazine on the shelves and create a film series to share their stories.
