Crowdfunder launch new partnership with Nectar to turn points into positivity

Crowdfunder, the UK’s leading crowdfunding platform has partnered with Nectar to launch Nectar Donate, a new scheme enabling customers to donate their Nectar points to good causes across the UK.

The partnership, which is the first of its kind, will allow UK registered charities to benefit from a portion of the £250m worth of Nectar points spent by customers every year. 

Nectar Donate means customers will be able to choose how much they give and how often, to a charity of their choice, from local causes to national household name charities.

It comes as new research revealed 4.9million Nectar customers said they would like to donate their Nectar points to good causes – and 85% said they would be interested in supporting local charities.

Duncan Parker, Director of Charity and Philanthropy at Crowdfunder, said: “We’re really excited to be partnering with Nectar to launch Nectar Donate.

“This is an entirely new way for charities to ask for donations and utilise the Crowdfunder platform for fundraising.
