Setting up a multiplier

Empower your supporters to fundraise for you

H3 tag. We are using the proper CSS class to make this text look like that it is very smart to click that button.

A multiplier project lets your supporters, family and friends champion your cause by creating their own fundraising pages linked to your project. Every pound they raise goes straight to your total and directly into your account—helping you reach your target faster!

Fill out the form below and we'll set your project to a multiplier, meaning you can invite people to fundraise for your cause. Make sure to read our key considerations beforehand.

Key considerations before enabling fundraisers

  • Have people ready to fundraise for you - Before filling out the form, ensure you have supporters ready to set up fundraisers for your cause. Only people already connected to your project are likely to help.
  • Know what your fundraisers need to do - Once we switch on multiplier, anyone can create a fundraiser to support your cause, such as a sponsored walk or bake sale. They simply need to set up their own project page, include their reason for fundraising, and enter a target amount, project name, and postcode. Funds raised will go directly to your project, so no bank details are needed.
  • Understand changes to your project type - Your project must be 'Flexible Funding' (Keep What You Raise) to allow fundraisers. This means that all funds collected will be paid to you, even if your target isn’t met. If your project is currently live with 'All or Nothing' funding, it will be switched to 'Flexible Funding.' Once your project reaches its closing date, it will automatically switch to 'Always On,' allowing you to continue receiving funds from your fundraisers if their closing dates extend beyond your project’s.
  • Share our helpful guide on creating a fundraiser - Download our helpful guide on how to set up a fundraiser to share with your supporters. You can also visit the Crowdfunder Knowledge Hub for advice on how to make your crowdfunding project a success.
  • Share rewards with fundraisers - Allow fundraisers to display rewards on their pages, improving their chances of raising money on your behalf. They will effectively 'sell' them for you, with all the money going directly to your project.
  • Switching on multiplier - If you still want to enable fundraisers on your project after reading our guidance, then fill in the form below and we'll make the switch on your project!
