Aim
I will be collecting donations and then taking all donations down to CalAids drop off point in London. Need funds for van hire and petrol.
Project aim
Travel down to London to the CalAid drop off point with all donated goods which they will then take on to Calais
About the project
Yesterday I saw the heartbreaking photo of the little Syrian boy washed up on the beach after him and his family tried to escape their country to a better life for themselves. Sadly he lost his life. This really opened my eyes to what is going on in our world when it comes to refugees and i just need to do something. I have set up a collection point in my area for donation and I then plan on taking the goods down to the London drop off point for CalAid. They will then take the donations on to Calais. I need to raise money for the logistical side of this, van hire and petrol. Please please donate whatever you can to help me. I have never done anything like this before. I am a mother, a wife and I just want to help.
