Support for Mark Scott Slough Town FC Keeper

To help Mark Scott and his family financially after a horrific neck break, meaning he is unable to work in the short term.

We did it!

On 4th Apr 2017 we successfully raised £6,845 of £5,000 target with 258 supporters in 28 days

Unfortunately on Saturday the 4th of March against Basingstoke Town FC, Mark Scott was involved in a sickening collision which has left him with a shattered C6 vertebrae (broken neck).

As an extremely serious injury it is going to involve a lot of rest and recovery, initially from hospital but then from home, which means he will be unable to work as a trainee accountant for a period of up to 3 months (potentially longer) and will be unable to play football for the forseeable future, therefore we are trying to raise some funds to help replace some of his lost income, as he has a partner, mortgage and bills to pay.

Nobody steps out onto the pitch thinking they will break their neck, and it is a scary thought what might have happened on Saturday if he had not had the right care.

He had his operation on 06/03/2017 at the John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford which went  well, and they have high hopes that he will fully recovery from the injury, however in the meantime any help would be much appreciated.
