A non profit charity where volunteers raise money for vulnerable and ill children, presents will be given to children in childrens homes and hospitals at Christmas time.

About the project

I am in the process of setting up a non profit charity, volunteers including myself will dress up as recognised Superheroes and raise money for charity. This will be achieved in several ways, firstly the traditional walking round busy town centres and hoping people donate money. I am hoping that the appeal of a Superhero character will engage people more, they will hopefully asking for photographs with the superheroes. I would also like to organise local events based on the superhero theme and raise money in that way to.

The money that is raised will be sent on buying underprivileged children presents at Christmas time, these will be the children in childrens homes, hospitals, hospices etc.

I am hoping that I will be able to get this charity nationwide at some point and it is a priority to me that all money goes to the cause, unlike the majority of charities that have managers etc, no one volunteering for "Superheroes for Children" will be paid, they will be doing it out of the goodness of their heart to help children less privelledged than them. After all children are the future.

The money raised on this site will be used for the initial setting up of the charity, this includes several high quality superhero costumes and also some promo materials.
