Project aim
To raise enough money for Laura to study graduate entry medicine.
About the project
There are thousands of people who want to study medicine, but come from disadvantaged backgrounds so are unable to do so. These people usually go on to do something else and forget all about their previous aspirations.
Laura is different, though. She's never given up her dream, and even though she was initially rejected for medicine, she continued to work towards the goal of becoming a doctor. She studied BioMedicine and graduated last year with a good grade. Now, she works at a hospital and has worked very hard towards creating a strong profile for her next application. She's destined to be a life saver, so please help!
I want to raise money to fund Laura's first year of graduate entry medicine. In the UK, students must fund their first year of graduate entry medicine, and after this, the NHS funds the rest. The first year of graduate-entry medicine amounts to £4000, and that's not even taking into account the living expenses whilst studying.
About Us
I've set up this page for Laura Josephs, my twin sister. Laura works in a hospital and is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. At university, she studied BioMedicine and was a committee member and president for several health charities, including Student Minds and Marrow.
