Help us SAVE Doncaster Women’s Aid

Doncaster is at risk of losing it’s Women’s Aid Charity and we need to secure £90,000 by the end of March 2016.

Doncaster Women’s Aid (DWA) has been supporting victims of Domestic Violence and Abuse since 1976. They deal with 330 referrals per month which involve approximately 550 children each month. That is over 4000 victim enquiries each year that are supported and protected by this charity.

They are one of the few charities in the region with a Specialist Women’s Project that is registered with the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner, helping over 1500 Asian and Eastern European women each year, dealing with issues of asylum, immigration, domestic violence, abuse and forced marriages.

Help us to save this incredible charity that supports and empowers victims and survivors, reducing their isolation and helping them to escape a life of abuse, fear and control. Doncaster Women’s Aid operates an open door non-time limited service and the Borough cannot afford to lose this support!
