In the year that I turned 50, I made a list of 50 challenges that I wanted to achieve in that year. One of those was to record a CD of my flute playing at a professional recording studio. As I found out, that's a costly chanllenge, so I'm looking for your help to fund the challenge!
I've played the flute since I was 7 years old.... I was Welsh Young Musician of the Year at the age of 16, and won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music at 18. But life doesn't always work out as planned, and a career in music was not to be. I even gave up playing for almost 20 years, only starting again in my 40s.
I would love to record a professional quality CD for me, my parents, my children and my friends. I've approached Acapela Studios in Pentyrch to get costings, started practising and am aiming to complete this challenge in 2017.
