We're raising funds to help pay for plane tickets from Panama to London to help my friend's parents watch her graduate from King's College.

We're raising funds to help pay for plane tickets from Panama to London to help my friend's parents watch her graduate from King's College.

Meli's parents spent all thier savings on ensuring thier daughter gets a good education. Having spent their life struggling to make ends meet , they have scrapped their savings to ensure that meli finishes her studies. However as she does it, there is a possibility they might not be part of that occasion. They are not able to pay for the tickets from panama to London.

Their story is indeed touching. After the government took over thier company 2 years ago as a part of nationalisation reforms, meli's family assets were frozen. They were willing to put forth all their savings for Meli's education.  To make things worse, in the backdrop of escalating violence in Caracas, they were robbed twice in a year. They were then forced to use the little savings they had left to move to Panama.

Today, after spending thier life earnings on thier daughters education, they are unable to afford tickets to watch her graduate. That is why we have taken the step to seek your help. To make the dream of the parents come true. To ensure that they are part of the happy occasion when their efforts pay off. Any help from you would go a long way in helping Melis parents be with her in London next month. And that is a dream come true for them. And for meli
