The Cause
Support the Townsend Youth Prize Draw – Help Us Keep Our Youth Clubs Open
The Townsend Youth Partnership (Charity number 1093213) - part of the YMCA Bournemouth group of charities, is based in the heart of the Townsend estate in Bournemouth. We provide a vital safe space where local young people can thrive – somewhere they feel they belong, can be supported, and are given real opportunities to develop and grow.
From this hub, we run focused youth work, delivered by trained youth workers who guide, support and encourage young people at a crucial time in their lives. Our work helps build self-confidence, wellbeing, resilience, and practical life skills.
But this work is at risk.
Since the end of BCP Council funding for youth services in December 2022, the Partnership has continued delivering sessions by covering the cost internally. However, with no core funding and rising demands, we now urgently need your help.
That’s why we’re running a Prize Draw, and every ticket purchased goes directly to keeping these youth clubs running.
Funds raised will:
- Keep the youth clubs open by covering rent, utilities, and essential operating costs
- Enable us to update equipment, resources and technology
- Expand our current activities to reach more young people
- Ensure sustainability so we can continue to be a consistent presence in the community
Your support will help prevent the closure of a service that is changing lives.

The prize draw opens on 4th July 2025 at 10.00am and closes on 18th August at 9.00 am. Entries received outside this period will not be counted.
Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries using randomized software.
The draw will take place on 18th August 2025, and the winner(s) will be notified within 3 days of the draw taking place.
