Aim

David Glass Directs Visionary Version of "Waiting for Godot". Now Help Raise £10,000 to Give the Seats Away to Young People!

1651249204_cf05.pngWe need £10,000 to give away our seats NOW

Theatre Nation has won a grant of £28,500 from the Arts Council (funded by the National Lottery.)   This will support a brand new production of Samuel Beckett's masterpiece "Waiting for Godot"

NOW we want to make sure that the new audiences of tomorrow - the younger generation - are not prevented from going because of high ticket prices.

With your donation we will be able to offer 100s of tickets at knock down prices (or even free) to young people across Hastings, Brighton and Tunbridge Wells; many of whom have never experienced live theatre before.

YOU can make this happen.  Donate to our Crowdfunder NOW.

Theatre Nation and David Glass are also running workshops in clowning & physical theatre.  Your money will help aspiring young theatre makers to join these sessions.

Theatre Nation is a professional theatre company based in Hastings. As a registered charity it has a central mission to support and engage young people with arts in general and theatre in particular.

1651248237_cf06.pngDavid Glass has performed, directed and taught in 74 countries. He is recognised as one of the world's foremost theatre pioneers and creative leaders.

Previous David Glass productions include Gormenghast & Bleak House. Each time he invites audiences to leave their preconceptions at the stage door.

This new “Waiting For Godot” will be no different.  Highly physical, gritty, very funny and performed by a cast of brilliant performers steeped in the mime and clowning traditions Beckett himself loved. It will be anything but reverential.

This Godot is a Cult in the making. Be there at the beginning. Not to be missed!

Make sure the next generation do not miss out.

Spread the word - tell your friends, family, workmates & next door's dog.
