Aim
Help us raise funds for life-saving aid requested by Ukrainian trade unions whose members are serving their communities at or near the front
Ukraine Solidarity Campaign is launching an urgent crowdfunder to deliver life‑saving aid to the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine (NPGU), part of the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine (KVPU) – the Ukrainian equivalent of the TUC. This Crowdfunder will add to many thousands of pounds donated to this appeal by UK trade unions in early 2026.
Ukrainian trade unionists are defending their communities as soldiers, working in civilian roles to rescue civilians, and of course keeping essential services running under constant attack. They have asked for our support, and we are responding.
What we urgently need to deliver:
- Pickup trucks for union members defending Ukraine and for those evacuating the wounded
- Equipment for the 10th Mining Rescue Squad to repair damaged vehicles
- Winter clothing for freezing frontline conditions
- Sleeping bags, heaters, gas burners, and portable power stations
- Medical supplies for stabilization points, including trauma dressings, chest seals, tourniquets, burn dressings.
These are not symbolic gestures. They are practical, life‑saving tools. Last autumn, for instance, thanks to your solidarity, we delivered vehicles that helped rescue 1,595 miners trapped underground after a Russian attack. Your support made that possible.
Every donation goes directly to Ukrainian trade unionists on or near the frontline. Every pound strengthens workers’ resistance to fascism, defends democracy, and upholds the principles of international labour solidarity.
