Aim

To raise vital funds to support the costs of running programmes in two vital areas - disability and with our older community members

About Us

We are Get Set 4 Tennis CIC, a passionate, inclusive tennis organisation with a mission to make sport accessible for everyone—regardless of ability, background, or income. Our team is made up of experienced coaches, educators, and inclusion specialists who believe that tennis can change lives.

We don’t just run tennis lessons—we create safe, empowering spaces for people with disabilities, mental health challenges, and those from low-income families to connect, grow in confidence, and discover their potential.

We’re also the only tennis club in the UK offering a dedicated coach education programme for post-16 young people with additional needs (SEND)—giving them the skills, training, and support to enter paid employment in sport.

Community Impact

Get Set 4 Tennis CIC is more than a sports organisation—we’re a vital part of our community’s support network. Our inclusive programmes create a safe, welcoming environment for people of all ages and abilities, especially those who are often left out.

We support:

  • The older members of our community we support by running both seated tennis and walking tennis, making our club fully inclusive

  • Children from low-income families who otherwise wouldn’t have access to structured, confidence-building activities

  • Disabled individuals and those with additional needs, helping them grow in confidence, independence, and social connection

  • Young people struggling with mental health, by offering structure, purpose, and a sense of belonging

  • SEND post-16s, through a unique coach education programme that builds skills and opens doors to employment

  • Families in crisis, by providing a warm space—somewhere to come not just for sport, but for safety, community, and support

Whether it’s a child finding their voice, a young adult gaining their first job, or a parent finding respite and connection, the impact is clear: we bring people together, break down barriers, and change lives through tennis and care.

Your support keeps this essential work going.

Our Vision

Our vision is a future where everyone—regardless of their barriers—can access high-quality, inclusive coaching and opportunities to thrive. We want to build a generation of confident, skilled young leaders with disabilities, while continuing to provide life-changing opportunities through sport for families across our community.

Last Year’s 24-Hour Tennis Marathon

Our 24-hour tennis marathon crowdfunding page was an incredible success, bringing together players, families, volunteers, and supporters for a full day and night of non-stop tennis and community spirit. Thanks to the amazing support from our local community, we raised over £8,000—funds that directly helped us deliver inclusive coaching sessions, support SEND participants, and maintain our warm space. The energy, generosity, and togetherness shown during the event was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we rally together.

This year Jon and Mark are mad enough to play tennis for 24 hour again across the 28-29th June. This year funds will go towards.........

  • Fund staffing and specialist coaches who will run tennis sessions for children and their families with additional needs as well as for our older community in seated and walking tennis

  • Cover essential venue and utility costs, ensuring we have a safe space for all

  • Purchase adaptive equipment so no one is left out

  • Ensure our sessions are free or low-cost, especially for low-income families

Every pound brings us closer to a community where tennis belongs to everyone.
