This next album ‘Conversations’ explores self expression,community, breaking the norm, vulnerability, identity & recovery.
Hello! For those of you who don’t already know me... I'm singer-songwriter, food lover, truth teller and soul-seeker Lady Nade a multi-award-winning, neurodivergent eclectic artist from Bristol, UK
I have always used my platform to support equality and collaboration, I enjoy promoting the positive connection between music, well-being and mental health and its a thread you will see sewn into everything I do.
I have been fortunate enough to be supported by and supported the likes of Yola, Emily Barker, PP.Arnold, Spiers and Boden, Allison Russell, The War and Treaty, Amythyst Kiah, Elles Bailey, Ferris and Sylvester Kyshona and Boo Hewerdine in creative endeavors, on tour and shows.
I feel most at home playing shows for my fans in independent venues and bigger theaters alike and I adore the atmosphere of a festival stage, recently I've had the pleasure of playing; Cambridge Folk, Glastonbury, Folk Alliance Kansas City, Latitude, Shrewsbury Folk, Moseley Folk Fest Americana Fest Nashville and many more.
I am a patron for Music Venue Trust, supporting the survival of grassroots venues and I am more recently Ambassador for the Musician’s Union Census who work to get the most accurate picture of musicians’ work and life in the UK and support creatives.
I recently presented a documentary for BBC World Service exploring the roots of country and Americana, its debt to black music.

As well as writing, singing and touring I support community projects as a music facilitator and industry panelist speaker, I have created music to support women recovering from breast cancer, children suffering from life threatening illnesses as people with dementia as well as working with Key stage 4 children in creative song writing workshops:Including this one about my home town:

Welcome to my crowdfunder for my fourth album 'Conversations' You know and I know it's time to make another record!
My last three albums were made in home studios, kitchens and bedrooms and I am hugely proud of them. It would be a dream come true to enhance and optimise my sound by producing the next record at Peter Gabriel's Real World studios, some of my contemporaries have recorded here including: Lianne La Havis, KT Tunsall, Bonnie Rait and Lauring Marling. As always I'll be working with an exciting producer who I’m going to tell you more about later.

TIME TO LEVEL UP - Making records is an expensive art - for unsigned artists like myself, it’s sometimes really hard to have the cash flow to make an album so by crowdfunding together we can make this happen- there are lots of pledges on offer including: CDs vinyl, merch, shows and more!

As an artist who has been crafting my art for over 10 years I feel this next album is going to be my finest work yet and im so proud of the writing and quality of what we are going to bring to you!

With the money we raise together I can fund the pre-production, recording, mixing and mastering and the physical production of the CDS and Vinyl.

For the first time ever I’m going to be recording an album in a professional studio. This will mean employing a producer, engineer, master and mixer.
To do this right it’s a lot more expensive than you can imagine ( unlike when I did it in my my bedroom and kitchen)
This is a level up and in doing this I’m in no way degrading my past albums which I am still immensely proud of but in every career there needs to be growth and my growth time is now.
There are so many rewards on offer including; CDs vinyl, merch, shows, masterclasses and more!
