Raising money to help fund The Kitchen Table

Aim
To provide desperately needed financial support and raise awareness for The Kitchen Table; a local charity providing free meals to families.
Hampshire and IOW Firefighters Katie and Amanda from Gosport Fire station are raising funds by competing in Fire Kit at a national event called Hyrox. They will compete in the Women's Doubles Pro category in Manchester on Sat 27th January 2024. This is an extreme race in normal circumstances, so competing in Fire Kit will be tough!

Katie and Amanda hope to provide desperately needed financial support and raise awareness for The Kitchen Table; a local charity that serves free meals to children and their parents/carers every Monday.
They chose the Kitchen Table as they are both mum's and the charities commitment to help local families affected by the cost of living crisis. The volunteers at The Kitchen Table work tirelessly to provide a welcoming safe environment for families. It is a supportive community where families can eat at a table together and have the opportunity to chat. The charity also provide hampers, baby food, nappies and sanitary essentials to the visiting families.
Alongside this event, Gosport Fire Station is committed to supporting the local community and The Kitchen Table in the future.
A small percentage of anything raised will be allocated to the Firefighters Charity
