Our wonderful indie bookshop has outgrown the available shelves - we now need to create more space for the 100+ indie authors we support.
Since op
ening in August 2023, we have grown phenomenally. We started with 6 independent authors, hoping to attract more over the coming 12 months. In 5 short months we now support over 100 authors and artists, as well as providing a safe space and community hub, hosting events which raise much-needed funds for local causes. We've already developed the space to ensure the best experience for our customers, but now need to do more works quickly to provide more space for books, and enhance the performance space and our Book Nook.
We've been receiving such heartwarming reviews since we opened, below are just a few (you can find them, and more, on Google reviews). We want to do everything we can to continue the ethos and atmosphere that people love so much, and you can be part of that. Starting from ground zero, we've attracted a loyal 5K+ followers across all social platforms, as well as many loyal regular customers to our shop. Our events have included book launches, conversations with amazing names such as Laura Bates, Casey Bailey, Ally Sinclair, community groups such as British Sign Language, meditation circles, mental health support, and open-mic poetry events. Imagine how much more we could offer with a redesigned space!
