We are looking to raise £5000 towards the ongoing running costs of the station, such as PRS, PPL, Insurances, IRN News and more.
Nova FM started broadcasting on the internet in 2011 with just 6 members. We quickly grew to a 28 strong membership, all volunteers. Ofcom awarded us a community FM radio license in July 2015, serving the immediate population of around 15,000 plus the surrounding areas. Nova FM broadcasts 24 hours a day on 97.5FM and on the internet www.novafm.co.uk from it’s studios in the High Street in Newport, Shropshire. The station is run by local volunteers old and young and provides a community radio service designed to inform and entertain the local community through combining a diverse mix of music, local news, sports and information about local community events, services and good causes. It is a great opportunity for people to join and make friends while learning skills and putting something useful back into the community.We are looking to raise funds for the general running costs of the station, such as PRS, PPL, Insurances, IRN News and much more.
