We are looking to raise £1000 to install
wind energy at the Nomadic Community Gardens. We are currently using petrol generators but would like to be using a clean and more sustainable source of power that is more in keeping with the gardens.
With the new wind energy system we will be able to power everything needed to deal with the logistics and day to day running of the site, from office equipment to power tools. It will also provide us with the power needed to host events for the community.
For the next two months we have people who will install and build the system as volunteers but we need to buy some of the equipment, such as batteries and wiring.
