I am 10 years old and my goal is to raise enough money to publish my first book
My name is Jadzia. This is the first time I am raising money for a personal cause, but as a Girlguide, I have raised lots of money for other important things.
The money I am raising will be used to cover everything I need to publish my first book, including paying for an amazing illustrator that I am really excited to work with.
I know it is a very difficult time for everybody with the pandemic, but I would be grateful if you could give whatever you can to help me on my journey to becoming an author.
I love writing because as soon as I put pen to paper, I am able to get out all of the thoughts, emotions and feelings that are whizzing around in my head.
Life at school isn't always easy for children and I hope that through my book I can reach out to children with a message of hope and being brave.
