We need a catalogue to tour our first group show! We are Drawing Down the Feminine, 11 women and 3 men, artists working in various media.
Will you help us create a quality catalogue to help tour our exhibition?
In return for donations of over £10, you will receive a copy inscribed with your name by one of the artists, and if you are able to be even more generous, it will be signed by us all, AND we have more fabulous, truly unique things to offer you – see the Rewards section.
If we are lucky enough to exceed our target, all the monies raised will go to the project, and we will tell you, our supporters, how. Our designers and printers are supporting us by giving us special rates, and they will be the first on our list.
We are 11 women and 3 men, experienced artists working in words, images and time-based media on the theme of Drawing Down the Feminine. We are delighted to have our first group show at the renowned Newlyn Art Gallery, West Cornwall this March. Drawing Down the Feminine is part of Transition 2016.
We are passionate about the changes that greater understanding of the real feminine in all of us – strong, universal, compassionate - can bring. So we are doing all we can to be able to reach out by touring the pilot when it finishes at Newlyn.
A high quality catalogue goes a long way towards securing further venues for our show. We already have several initial expressions of interest. And when the show eventually finishes touring, the group will have a much stronger base for the next one. And the catalogue will continue to spread the message.
