Three nights of great music on June 2-4 – headlined by international chart-toppers The Hothouse Flowers!
Two years ago the Holywood Blues & Jazz Festival – once an annual fixture in the town – was resurrected to great success. More than 15,000 people enjoyed a three-day feast of music.
The event not only put Holywood on the map as a vibrant tourist destination but also boosted the local economy – and was shortlisted for Best Tourism Event at the North Down Business Awards. In 2016 the event was renamed the Holywood Harmony Festival so we could widen the range of music and bands we could feature.
Earlier this month the Holywood Harmony Festival 2017 was launched announcing top acts such as The Hothouse Flowers, Gareth Dunlop, Dana Masters, Ulaid & Duke Special, The Emerald Armada & Doghouse among many more.
Our team behind the festival have secured the main acts but now we need your help to take it to the next level.
Every year we run the festival our expenses are wide and varied from booking the acts, getting the marquee, our sound and lighting team, generators and security to first aiders, graphic design, printing, PR, digital media, insurance and much more. Our revenue from ticket sales and small private sponsorship leaves us little to work on expanding the festival.
This year we’d like to do exactly that - expand the festival to include many free events for children, families, the elderly and more!
With your support, no matter how big or small, Holywood will be celebrating an event that helps put the town on the map as a tourist destination, brings people to the shops and businesses in the town and gives us all three nights of musical fun.
And just in case you wondered, the Holywood Harmony Festival is a non-profit-making event run entirely by volunteers. No-one gets a salary – although they might get a pat on the back afterwards!
So join us in being part of the Holywood Harmony Festival! Buy Early Bird tickets or just donate some money – and help us fill Holywood with harmony.
Thank you for being amazing, thank you for helping bring the Holywood Harmony Festival to life!
