Help SoyAndle reach the masses!
Sleaford, England, United Kingdom
Aim
Our aim is to use the money raised for marketing, improve brand strength, equipment upgrade and expand our range.
We are SoyAndle, a new company that launched on the 06/05/2017 producing natural hand poured candles and wax melts. We have designed our candles to be Eco friendly to those who suffer with respiratory illnesses. We are a family run business where one member suffers from COPD and another Asthma. We all love candles but the cheap chemical based candles affect people breathing and they are also not good for the environment.
We know there are other natural candle companies out there, we have brought them ourselves but one concern we had, was they often cost a third of our food shopping bill. SoyAndle candles can’t be as cheap as paraffin based ones simply because natural waxes are not cheap but we are able to produce them and sell them with a less greedy margin. This is a win, win situation for the consumer as they can buy our candle in a tin for £8.75 compared to £12 from rivals. We do not currently producing candles in a glass but plan to. These are more expensive and can cost over £20 from other companies, we aim to keep our prices as low as possible.
Why are we crowd funding and how much for?
We are initially trying to raise £10.000. This will be used to upgrade our equipment as we are expanding fast, improve our brand strength and marketing. We will also expand our range to offer a wider choice of fragranced candles, including bringing in candles in a glass jar.
What do you get?
This depends on your kind donation. If it is below £25.00 then we will send you a virtual hug and a virtual coffee on us.
