KDFF is a nearly bankrupt women's football club with a team in the Damallsvenskan and 7 youth teams, that focuses on youth development.
Kristianstads DFF is a women's football club located in Kristianstad, Sweden.
We are currently in serious financial difficulty and we run an extremely high risk of bankruptcy unless we get our finances in order in the next few weeks.
We have over 150 active players in 8 teams, from a women's professional team that plays in the Damallsvenskan (the highest women's league in Sweden) and an elite U-19 team, all the way down to our U-9 and U-8 teams.
We place great importance on youth development, and on sport participation in general for young girls and boys in the community!
We have organized projects with the aim of inclusion, participation, and youth development through programs such as:
We have actively been looking for sponsors and donations for months now, and the local businesses are not providing us with enough financial help, often opting to invest more in the male clubs in town. Our players, coaches, parents and the people at the administration/board level have made great efforts in helping find sponsors, but it is still not enough.
We need all the help we can get! Any/all amounts will be greatly appreciated!
Please don't let us become yet another example of a team that folds due to the lack of support for women's sports!
