Help Miranda get to the OCR World Championships

Help needed to raise money for me to get to the OCR World Championships in Canada. I need to register soon,any support gratefully received!

Firstly thank you. If you are reading this then it means you are interested in my cause, so again thank you!

My name is Miranda Rickard I am 35. I have been doing sports my whole life, from a young age I competed for Devon in Athletics and then as I got older went into teaching PE and Sport alongside teaching fitness classes in the evening (Body Combat). 

Last year I decided to have a go with friends at an obstacle race. I loved it and soon got my competitive side back and wanted to start competing. I saw a fairly local event in Cornwall which was a UK qualifying event so thought I'd give it a go. To my surprise I came 4th and therefore qualified for the UK Championships. I then got the bug and continued to do races most weekends in fact. One of which was a renowned Reebok Spartan race up in London where I came 3rd and qualified for the Wolrd Championships. I couldn't believe it after only really starting to take it seriously a few months previous. The World championships were in the USA 2015 in two months and I didn't get enough money to go.

This year however I have qualified again (after coming 1st in my age category at the nuts challenge and 4th overall in my gender) and I made sure I did an event early on in the year (now I know what I'm doing) to qualify early. So I've qualified for the UK, European and World Championships which is in Canada in October. I desperately want to go this year as age is on my side (haha). Just to get the opportunity to represent the UK and go to another country to compete would be a dream come true for me!
