Sustainable Surf Bikinis by HangZen Clothing

Aim

To allow you lovely people to pre-order sustainable surfwear, to grow the brand and recycle from the ocean one bikini at a time!

Hang Zen was born out of two problems we wanted to address:

• The inability to find beautiful bikinis and swimsuits that are comfortable to wear all day and stay on in the waves i.e. no nip-slip, uncomfortable straps or wandering bikini bottoms!
• Ocean plastic pollution.

Our aims are to create awesome surf-proof bikinis and onepieces that empower women in the water, raise awareness about marine litter and help reduce the staggering rate at which we consume single use plastics.

Founding director Emily has used her own knowledge and experiences in the water as well as those of fellow female surfers to develop original, surf-inspired bikinis.

The material we use is a sustainable techno-fabric made using a nylon yarn that has been upcycled from ocean plastics such as fishing nets and other post consumer waste plastics.
