We are here to PARTY! There will be Riot Grrrls. There will be guitars. Drums. Mics. Noise. Music.
MANIFESTO:
To inspire women and grrrls to pick up guitars and drums and sing and scream.
To promote female-dominated music in an industry that promotes male-dominated music.
To support each other as women in male-dominated spaces.
To rebel against prescribed ways of being women in music.
Above all else, to ROCK!

It is very important to us that no one plays for "Exposure" (for free). We are paying the bands in cash, which is pretty revolutionary for unknown, undiscovered, awesome underground bands.
This is why we need your help! To put on the gig and pay everyone, we need to sell paid guestlist places in advance. We understand that some of you are skint, so we're selling some cheap tickets too, but we'd like to encourage you all to buy the more expensive tickets that have amazing bonuses with them such as a copy of Mother's Pride zine, items of merch and MP3s of the bands playing the night. Each of these will be exclusive to the party in question and may go on to become collector's items.
Hannah Golightly's Imaginary Band
As many of you know, Chester doesn't have much of a music scene, it mostly being well known bands and open mics with not much in between. With this in mind, we ask you to consider supporting the venuture even if you are unable to attend the party on the given date. This ensures that the next one can happen and you can then see about coming to that one. The gig will be at least party filmed and added to Hannah Golightly's YouTube channel where you will be able to watch some of the gig afterwards or from the comfort of your own home if you are unable to attend.
